Professor Arndt Reichert assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief of the The European Journal of Health Economics on March 1, 2026. The journal is one of the leading international journals in health economics and publishes high quality, policy-relevant research on the economic dimensions of health systems.
Professor Annika Herr has been a member of the journal's editorial board as Associate Editor since March 1, 2026.
Professor Reichert succeeds the founding editors, Professor Matthias von der Schulenburg (Leibniz University Hannover) and Professor Wolfgang Greiner (University of Bielefeld). Through their vision, commitment, and scientific leadership, they have developed the journal into a publication outlet of high scientific quality, international visibility, and strong reputation.
