The nationwide Online-Ringvorlesung, organized by the BAG WiWA, brings together experts from multiple disciplines to discuss current challenges and developments in medicine and healthcare from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The 2026 series focuses on “Health in Transition,” addressing topics such as technological innovation, social inequalities, ethical questions, and workforce shortages in care.
As part of this series, Professor Annika Herr presented research from several joint studies with members of the IHE, including work on the shortage of nurses (see publication: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10198-025-01782-7).
