Field Coordinator – The Social Media Bridge (Germany)

The World Bank, in partnership with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) and managing authorities across six EU Member States, is working to enhance the effectiveness of EU-funded projects through improved data integration and policy experimentation.

In Germany, this work is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and its implementing partner, MINOR, and focuses on the Social Media Bridge (SOMB)—a nationwide, online-only counselling initiative providing low-threshold, multilingual labour-market information and referral support to refugees and migrants via social media.

The World Bank is seeking a Field Coordinator to support the implementation of an impact evaluation. This short term consultancy runs from February–June 2026 and requires approximately 6–10 days per month. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in economics or a related field, has strong quantitative and analytical skills, good knowledge of Stata, proficiency in German, and is based in Berlin or willing to travel regularly.
