Nobel Laureate in Economics Prof. Alvin Roth, University of Stanford, invited by Prof. Dr. Annika Herr at dggö Talk on May 31, 2023, 5-6 p.m.

The German Society for Health Economics (dggö) cordially invites you to participate in the dggö Talk Series. In cooperation with the dggö committee "Allocation and Distribution", the three talks will be held on the topic "Donation Behavior in Health Care: Market Design and Health Policy Perspectives" will take place online.

On the invitation of Annika, spokewoman of the dggö and professor at the Institute of Health Economcis, Professor Alvin Roth from Stanford University will talk about "Kidney Exchange to increase transplantation: around the world, and in Germany?". The talk by the Nobel laureate will take place on May 31 from 5pm to 6pm CET.

The second talk will be given by Rebecca Zimmering of the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) and is titled "Organspende in Deutschland: Grundlagen, aktuelle Situation und Diskussionen." The talk will take place on June 28, 2023 from 5pm to 6pm CET.

The third talk will be held by Professor Robert Slonim from the University of Technology Sydney on "Blood donations: What health policy can learn from behavioral economics" on August 16, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm CET.
